Grant Contract Signing Ceremony for “The Project for the Construction of Tailevu North College School Building”, and“The Project for the Construction of Ratu Filise Memorial School Building” under the Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Projects (GGP) programme.

On 19 October 2026, under the supervision of Honorable Mr. Aseri RADRODRO, Minister for Education, a Grant Contract Signing Ceremony for the Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Projects (GGP) was held, where the grant contracts for The Project for the Construction of Tailevu North College School Building, and The Project for the Construction of Ratu Filise Memorial School Building were signed by H.E. Hiroshi TAJIMA, Ambassador of Japan to Fiji, Mr. David Bruce WEDROCK, Principal of Tailevu North College, and Mr. Etika NAKURUILAGI, Head of Ratu Filise Memorial School.
Fully furnished three classrooms building will be provided to each school in order to improve the educational environment.
Ambassador TAJIMA expressed his hope that “today’s assistance will brighten the future of Fiji’s children and communities, and further strengthen the unshakable bond between Fiji and Japan.”
