Public Notice: Beware of Scammers

The Embassy of Japan has received several reports of individuals fraudulently claiming to be “GGP Project Coordinators” and requesting money or rewards under the pretext of assisting with applications for the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) Programme.
 
Please be advised that neither the Embassy of Japan nor its staff or official representatives will ever request any payment, reward, or compensation in relation to GGP project applications or coordination services.
 
If you are approached by anyone making such requests, please DO NOT ENGAGE with them and report the matter immediately to the Embassy of Japan through the official contact details below.
