Grant Contract Signing Ceremony for “The Project for the Reconstruction of Lomaivuna High School Building”, and“The Project for the Construction of Ratu Sauvoli Memorial School Building” under the Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects (GGP) programme.

On 13 February 2026, under the supervision of Honorable Mr. Aseri RADRODRO, Minister for Education, a Grant Contract Signing Ceremony for the Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects (GGP) was held, where the grant contracts for The Project for the Reconstruction of Lomaivuna High School Building, and The Project for the Construction of Ratu Sauvoli Memorial School Building were signed by H.E. TAJIMA Hiroshi Ambassador of Japan in the Republic of Fiji, Ms. Susana TAGI, Principal of Lomaivuna High School, and Mr. Nemani Tagane QAQA, Head of School of Ratu Sauvoli Memorial School.
Fully furnished three classrooms building will be provided to each school in order to improve the educational environment.
Ambassador TAJIMA expressed his hope that “today’s assistance will brighten the future of Fiji’s children and communities, and further strengthen the unshakable bond between Fiji and Japan.”
