Signing Ceremony for the Official Security Assistance : Provision of Emergency Medical Care Equipment to the Republic of Fiji Military Forces


On 30th March, at the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Strategic Headquarters in Suva, His Excellency Mr. Hiroshi Tajima, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Fiji, and the Honourable Pio Tikoduadua, Minister for Defence and Veterans Affairs of the Republic of Fiji, signed the exchanged of notes for Japan’s Official Security Assistance (OSA) fiscal year 2025 project. Japan will provide the Republic of Fiji Military Forces with emergency medical care equipment valued at approximately 5.5 million Fijian dollars, including ambulances, which is expected to significantly enhance Fiji’s medical capabilities in emergency situations including disaster response.
