Ambassador Tajima presented his Letter of Credence to the President
H.E. Ambassador of Japan Mr Hiroshi Tajima presented his Letter of Credence on 5th February to the President of the Republic of Fiji, H.E. Mr Ratu Naiqama Tawakecolati Lalabalavu.
Ambassador Tajima conveyed cordial greetings from His Majesty the Emperor of Japan to H.E. President Mr. Lalabalavu, which manifest His Majesty’s warm desires to further promote the friendship and goodwill jointly nurtured by the Governments and peoples of Fiji and Japan.
Ambassador Tajima also said that he is delighted to see that as part of the Pacific family of nations, both countries have continued to strengthen Fiji-Japan relations over the years.
Under the auspices of such bonds of friendship between our nations, he earnestly looks forward to serving as Japan’s Ambassador to Fiji and to working closely with the people of Fiji to elevate our relations to greater heights.
