Grant Contract Signing Ceremony for “The Project of Provision of Garbage Compactor Truck to Sigatoka Town Council” under the Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects (GGP) programme

On 11 January, 2021, a Grant Contract Signing Ceremony for the Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects (GGP) programme was held at the Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Fiji. The grant contract was signed by Mr. HADA Tsuguyoshi, Charge d'Affaires ad interim of Japan to the Republic of Fiji, and Muni Anand Samy PILLAY, Acting Chief Executive Officer to Sigatoka Town Council. Ms. Hon. Premila Kumar, Minister for Local Government, Housing and Community Development, Ms. Dimity Fifer, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Housing and Community Development, Mr. Anil Chandra and Ms. Manorma Khan, Special Administrators for Nadi and Sigatoka were also present at this ceremony as witnesses.
