Reception hosted by Ambassador Omura to welcome JICA President Dr Kitaoka’s visitation and celebrate Fiji and Japan’s international cooperation (6 April 2018)

On 6 April 2018, Ambassador of Japan, H.E. Mr. Masahiro Omura hosted a reception to welcome Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) president Dr Shinichi Kitaoka’s visitation and to further deepen relationships in the field of international cooperation between Fiji and Japan.

Honorable Minister for Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations Jone Usamate, together with other government officials, diplomatic missions, international organizations and JICA experts attended and exchanged views and ideas on Fiji’s development.

Dr Kitaoka was on an official visit to the country for the first time to meet with dignitaries of the Government of Fiji and to observe the outcomes of Japan’s cooperation projects in Fiji.
