On 4 February, 2020, a Grant Contract Signing Ceremony for the Grant Assistance for Grass-Roots Human Security Projects (GGP) programme was held at the Embassy of Japan. The grant contract for the Project for Upgrading of High Frequency Communications to National Disaster Management Office was signed by Mr. HADA Tsuguyoshi, Charge d'Affaires ad interim of Japan to the Republic of Fiji, and Ms. Vasiti Soko, Director for National Disaster Management Office.
