Japanese Government Scholarship Programme for 2012 Promotion:

 

            The Embassy of Japan is now open for Scholarship 2012 Intakes for four categories ; Research, Undergraduate, College of Technology and Specialized Training College.  Interested applicants are able to enquire and get more information either on the Embassy website, visiting the Library at the Embassy or calling the Embassy. The deadline for all the application forms is on the 17th June, 2011.

There will be a Promotion in the Northern Division for three days on Tuesday 24th to Thursday 26th of May, while the Western Division will also be for three days from the 1st to the 3rd of June. The Representatives are Embassy’s former officer for Scholarship matters (promoting in the North Division) and a former Japanese Government Scholarship student (promote in the Western Division). For the Eastern and Central Division; the Embassy in Suva is available for questions and queries.

The Embassy will participate in the Careers Expo hosted by the Fiji Government, on Thursday the 26th of May held at Xavier College in Lautoka.

The Japanese Government Scholarship was introduced in Fiji in 1982 to promote human resources development and International exchange since it inception; approximately 130 students have been awarded with the Scholarship, including 20 students who are currently studying in Japan.
