:: Press ReleasesJapan Funds for 3 Projects The Government of Japan will provide grant aid funds totalling US$165,933 (approx. F$277,000) for the flood rehabilitation of Navua Hospital and the upgrading of facilities for 2 rural schools. Grant Contracts formalizing Japan's assistance will be signed by Dr.
Lepani Waqatakirewa, Chief Executive Officer for Ministry of Health, and
school representatives, for the respective projects, and H.E.Mr. Kenro
Iino, the Ambassador of Japan to Fiji, at 10:30am on Tuesday 6th July
2004 at the Embassy of Japan in Suva. Details on the individual projects are:
