Signing and Exchange of Notes for the Grant Aid for Nauru “Economic Social Development Programme”

On August 27th 2021, in Suva, the Signing and Exchange of Notes for the Grant Aid for Nauru, “Economic Social Development Programme” was made between H.E. Mr. KAWAKAMI Fumihiro, Ambassador of Japan, and H.E. Mr. Michael Aroi, Nauru High Commissioner to Fiji, signed and exchanged notes for the provision of waste treatment equipment with a grant amount of 200 million yen. This cooperation is expected to contribute to the economic and social development of Nauru by providing the government of Nauru with equipment and materials (power shovels, loaders, etc.) that will contribute to waste disposal, thereby improving the social service delivery system.
