VACANCY– CLERK – LOCAL at EMBASSY of JAPAN, KIRIBATI (Embassy opens on 1 Jan 2023)

The Embassy of Japan in Fiji is seeking a suitable person to work in various areas such as Political, Economic, Consular, Administrative, Secretarial matters, as ‘CLERK – Local Positon’ for the Japanese Embassy in Kiribati to be established on 1st of January, 2023.

Essential requirements for candidates applying for this position are:

1. A tertiary education and relevant work experience or equivalent level of other experiences;

2. An excellent standard of oral and written English skills;

3. A wide range of personal connections to liaise with Kiribati governmental organizations, international organizations, diplomatic corps, local companies, stakeholders, etc.;

4. Self-motivated to engage in complex issues;

5. Report writing and PC skills;

Work location: Bairiki area, Tarawa, Kiribati
