The Presentation of Credentials to His Excellency Mr. Taneti Maamau, President of the Republic of Kiribati, by His Excellency Mr. Masahiro Omura, Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Kiribati (28 August 2017).

On August 28, 2017, Japan’s Ambassador-Designate to the Republic of Kiribati, His Excellency Mr. Masahiro Omura visited the country and presented his Letter of Credence to the President, His Excellency Mr. Taneti Maamau, at the Official Residence of His Excellency the President. During their meeting following the presentation of credentials, H.E. Mr. Maamau and H.E. Mr. Omura jointly pledged their commitment to further strengthen Kiribati-Japan relations.
